The Jools Holland Boogie-Woogie Dinner - a celebration of the classic jazz of the boogie-woogie era featuring Ben Waters, Axel Zwingenberger, Neville Dickie, Ladyva & very special guest stars to be announced soon.
Back in 2013 Jools Holland hosted a memorable night at Boisdale performing with some of the world’s greatest boogie-woogie masters (one of the highlights was Jools being joined by his three guests on an eight handed boogie-woogie work out! – see the video above). Now he’s back again with some of his favourite musicians for another night of piano pounding excitement with German piano wizard Axel Zwingenberger, Ladyva - the glamorous queen of the keys, master of stride piano Neville Dickie as well as Ben Waters, pianist of choice for The Rolling Stones, the Kinks, Chuck Berry and many others. The evening will also feature the rhythm section from the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
