Lebanon food and wine trip dinner
Thu, Sept 28 2017, at 19:00
Lebanon is one of the oldest wine making countries in the world and the country that gave the Greeks and the Romans their wine culture thanks to the powerful Phoenician trading fleet that plied its trade across the Mediterranean nearly 4000 years ago.
In the last hundred years the country has witnessed the fall of the Ottoman Empire, experienced life in the post WWI French Mandate era and still endures the constant upheaval of the modern Middle East. But despite all these challenges, its wines are considered the finest in the region and Boisdale has teamed up with award-winning, Lebanese wine writer Michael Karam to host this event.
The dinner is being hosted to celebrate some of the wines that the guests who have booked the Lebanese food and wine trip will taste on their trip next month.
