Japanese whisky tasting with Suntory at Boisdale of Belgravia
An ambassador of Suntory, David Miles, will be running a masterclass and sampling session of three exceptional whiskies that any discerning or amateur whisky lover should experience. Whiskies being tasted:
Hibiki: a harmonious blend of innumerous malt and grain whiskies which are meticulously blended to create a full orchestra of flavors and aromas. Seductive, blossoming and enigmatic, Hibiki Whisky celebrates an unrivaled art of blending, fine craftsmanship and a sense of luxury from the House of Suntory.
Yamazaki: From Yamazaki distillery was born the surprising, delicate yet profound experience of a Japanese single malt whisky. Spiritual and deep, its signature multi-layered taste is highly praised by whisky connoisseurs all over the world. Japan’s no. 1 whisky.
Hakushu: Straight from the untouched forests, mountains and pure waters of the Southern Japanese Alps, it is no wonder that Hakushu is a "green and fresh" whisky, praised by the most curious whisky connoisseurs and lovers of gastronomy. The only peated whisky in the Suntory range.
Hosted by David Miles - a true veteran of the bar industry who started working in bars at 18 who later developed an interest and passion for cocktails. He’s worked in key London bars such as 57 Jermyn Street, and working with and learning from many industry legends. He set up the cocktail bar in Vakzuid, one of the first cocktail bars in Amsterdam, and then worked in Mumbai and Tel Aviv, amongst other places.
